Bohr's atomic model is an interactive learning simulator that allows you to study the atomic model in a unique and intuitive manner. Bohr's atomic model is written in Java and is available for all major platforms, including Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. Requirements: JVM1.1.1, with Java(TM) 1.1.1 or higher. Java version information is available here: Installation: The preferred way of installing Bohr's Atomic Model is by downloading the Java JAR file from and double-clicking the installer file to run it. Alternatively, you can install by going to your platform's software installer (such as the Java Plug-in for browsers) and selecting Java SE or Java SE Advanced Limitations: This simulation is designed to run on a general purpose computer with a Java-enabled browser, such as Internet Explorer, Netscape and Firefox. It should run fine on other browsers as well, but some may require more CPU and system resources, such as Google Chrome. Notes: Bohr's Atomic Model may require resources, such as memory and/or CPU, depending on the number of objects that are being simulated. See also: Copyright: ©2000, Object Designer, Inc.
